Aerial photography of agricultural lands using unmanned aircraft systems in the Novgorod region

The purpose of the project:

Testing of unmanned technologies for aerial photography of crops.

Results:

A multispectral examination of problem field with spring wheat with an area of 44.89 hectares was performed in July 2022. The photography was carried out over the plots of a Novgorod farmer in the Lake Ilmen area. Proposals for differentiated application of nitrogen fertilizers were developed on the photography results. A meeting of the working group was held with the participation of the digital development minister and deputy minister, as well as the deputy agriculture minister of the Novgorod region to discuss the flights. Based on the discussion, the project was recommended for replication.
